Premonitions are a very interesting phenomenon and even if they don't have a scientific explanation, that doesn't mean we have to take them for granted. Even if there are cases where premonitions managed to describe with strange accuracy what was about to happened and some people actually managed to save their lives thanks to these visions they've had in the past, there were cases where clear premonitions were still missing one essential detail. Back in 1946, marshal of airline forces Sir Victor Goddard was at a party in Shanghai when he heard someone speaking around him about the Marshall Goddard who was considered deceased. When he turned around to see who this infamous liar was, he saw the commandant of a British float who formally asked for apologies, explaining he dreamt of a commercial plane having landed by force due to a snow blizzard and having crashed on a rocky shore.

This plane had some R.A.F. passengers aboard but also a woman and two men who were civilians that got out of this story alive and unharmed. However, Goddard did not survive. At first, Goddard, who was supposed to fly to Tokyo in the next days, was not restless as no civilians were supposed to fly along with him. But later, a journalist joined the trip, the general counselor and a secretary. When the plane took off, Goddard was firmly convinced he was going to die. The plane entered a snow storm and was forced to land on a rocky island in Japan. Everyone managed to survive.
